At each cleaning, our hygienists will spend time cleaning your teeth and helping educate you on topics that affect your teeth. She will also address any concerns you have about your teeth and gums. She will show you some home care techniques and give you the supplies needed to maintain your dental health at home.

The doctor will then come in and perform a comprehensive exam, focusing on your concerns. An oral cancer screening is also done at this appointment. Often radiographs are a necessary diagnostic tool, helping the dentist detect any cavities, periodontal disease and other hard tissue issues.
