Cosmetic Bonding Photos

Bonding is a technique similar to veneers. Instead of using a porcelain facing, a tooth-colored filling material (composite resin) is chemically and mechanically bonded to the tooth giving the appearance of straight teeth.

Bonding enables us to:

  • Close spaces between your teeth
  • Lengthen small of misshapen teeth

This type of restoration is best for changing one or two teeth. When more teeth are involves, porcelain veneers are often a better option.

When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, bonding can restore their original look. Bonding your teeth with resin is a one-appointment procedure:

First, teeth are roughened and a conditional gel is applied. Then a tooth-colored material called resin is placed on the teeth, and is sculpted to the desired shape. A UV light hardens the resin, bonding it to the teeth.

Bonding can greatly improve the appearance of your teeth, resulting in a more beautiful, natural looking smile!
