This patient lost two of his back teeth due to periodontal disease. Due to the bone loss, we were unable to immediately place implants because there wouldn't have been enough bone support. However, with grafting of bone into the area with a procedure called a sinus lift, we were able to place two implants. Now with the crowns in place, this gentleman can chew without pain.
